IRIS "Top 5" for the...

Week of 7/11/16

1.    Formal go live is Monday Oct 3.
Please plan to close-out documentation and dashboards in Streamline, seeing few or no consumers on Friday, September 30th.
2.    Training will occur from Aug 30-Sep 29. Formal placement into training sessions will be released in coming days/weeks.
3.    Training will be intensive, hands-on computer-lab style so you can learn how to use the IRIS system. (Rivers A/B)
4.    Staff will have access to the IRIS training site to continue practicing in IRIS before and after go live.
5.    Supervisors will share new clinical documents with staff in team meetings.

Week of 7/18/16

1.    Did you know?... Soon, there will be a single point of contact for tech support, to help make communication easier. Riverwood is implementing an internal ticketing system that will push support requests out for IRIS, internal IT, and to Secant.
2.    As a reminder, if you did not yet register, or speak with your supervisor to register, please submit your preferences for IRIS training at http://doodle.com/poll/pai3bq7wkv2q5k8i  The opportunity to submit will close by August and final placements will be secured with PCE.
3.    It’s time... Through request to your supervisor, please encourage your department to reach out to your closest implementation team member or supervisor to discuss known considerations for changes to business processes that will be impacted by IRIS. Implementation team members (right hand side) are located at: http://www.riverwoodcenter.org/suimplementation  ...and don’t worry; the Implementation team with PCE, supervisors, and soon, Super Users, have been and will be working hard to help guide all staff through this process.
4.    Interested in form specifications? Feeling curious? All IRIS-updated documents are now located on the S drive at “S:\IRIS - Do Not Edit - Changes Tracked\(!) 2016 07 - IRIS Final Specs - Do Not Edit” - - - Staff can download, copy, and print from this folder for you or your staff to read and get acclimated to, though this is optional at this point. (Please save questions for training days, or meetings with your supervisor).
5.    Giveaways are coming! Please submit your (private) sizing preferences at https://www.research.net/r/IRISshirts The opportunity to submit will close by August and final orders will be placed.

Week of 7/25/16

1.       Did you know?... IT is already testing your new IRIS EHR - - - it’s “real” and programmed now; checking data within the system itself to make sure fields are running smoothly.
2.       As a reminder, if you did not yet register, or speak with your supervisor to register, please submit your preferences for IRIS training at http://doodle.com/poll/pai3bq7wkv2q5k8i  The opportunity to submit will close by August and final placements will be secured with PCE.
3.       Implementation team members (guiding decisions), Kata-trained staff (knowledgeable in process redesign), and Super Users (our SUPER-heroes of IRIS training very soon) are located at: http://www.riverwoodcenter.org/suimplementation
4.       Regarding documentation... Please know that:
- BHTeds is already integrated into IRIS documentation
- NorthStar has new documentation (that will be covered/communicated/trained-on in weeks to come)
- Scottdale has new documentation (that will be covered/communicated/trained-on in weeks to come)
- Forms specifications are available to see on the S drive, under IRIS, if you are interested in starting to look at them
5.       Giveaways are coming! Please submit your (private) sizing preferences at https://www.research.net/r/IRISshirts - The opportunity to submit will close by August and final orders will be placed.

Week of 8/4, 8/11 and 8/18/16

Super Users: See S:\IRIS - Do Not Edit - Changes Tracked\SU Notes - Super User Meetings to view items to communicate out to staff.

Week of 8/23

1.    Documentation must be closed-out and dashboards cleared by 9/30 at noon; 5pm at the absolute latest (through strongly not recommended). As much as is possible needs to be cleared out well in advance so that the system doesn’t freeze up with an “11th hour” rush to finish work in Streamline.

2.    Anything that requires moving on to another staff member to be worked in order to clear it from your own dashboard must be cleared and passed on by 9/26.

3.    All transfers must be complete by 9/26 to allow time for them to be worked.

4.    All discharges for Customer Service must be complete on 9/16.

5.    BHTeds and Health History backlogs cannot be pushed forward to other staff to work in the last week before goLive, 9/26. This will create a backlog for those work is pushed forward to.

4 business days until training begins; 28 business days until goLive!
17 business days until discharges are due;  23 until transfers

go-Live! October 3rd
- close-out documentation on/by 9/30
- all transfers must be complete by 9/26
- complete discharges for CS by 9/16
